Quick Browser Access to MT5 Reports
🌐 Direct File Access (No Export Needed!)
You can view MT5 HTML reports directly in your browser using the file:// protocol.
URL Format
file:///home/garfield/mt5-docker/config/.wine/drive_c/users/abc/Desktop/ReportHistory-104125640.html
How to Use
- Open any web browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
- Copy the file path above
- Paste in the address bar and press Enter
- The report displays immediately!
Why This Works
- MT5 saves reports to:
C:\users\abc\Desktop\(in Wine) - This maps to:
~/mt5-docker/config/.wine/drive_c/users/abc/Desktop/ - Browsers can read local files via
file://protocol - No need to export, copy, or use utilities!
